Creasing Tile is the perfect tile for adding a fine decorative finish to brick and stonework. Creasing tiles are plain clay tiles without nibs or camber. They are used for cappings and copings, damp proof courses (DPC), external cills and other decorative purposes. (corbelling, arches, chimneys and decorative quoins).
Creasing tiles are durable and reliable that provide low water absorption of just 3.9% these tiles stay in good condition over the lifespan of most buildings.
Creasing tiles are more commonly used for decorative purposes and damp proofing on walls, cills, and chimneys, rather than as the primary roofing material. They often create clean edges and transitions between different materials or roof sections. However, your roofer, builder, or bricklayer will be the best to ask, as they are directly involved and can assess the project to see if it is suitable.
