Orders of 4 regular shape brick packs or less are charged per pack. If you are purchasing special shape bricks or creasing tiles – as per the quantity breakdown mentioned below.
Orders of 5 regular shape brick packs or more are charged per delivery run. Please bear in mind, by default, we organise delivery on artic trucks, these usually are able to take twice as much as the rigid type of lorry can fit in one delivery run. If you are planning to buy more than 20 packs of standard brick packs, most likely it will have to be delivered over 2 delivery runs, or, if you need your delivery to be split over few delivery runs, please get in touch with our team for more information and delivery quote. Various factors affect how many bricks can fit in 1 delivery load i.e. brick weight, truck size etc.
Delivery to Zone 3 postcodes:
Any quantity standard shape brick orders will be charged per pack. By default, orders will be delivered on a tail lift lorry. If you require a crane offload vehicle, please get in touch prior to ordering as crane offload vehicles are priced differently to these areas as well as the lead time might be longer.
Please note, it is advised to add a 5% ā 10% allowance (15-20% for Forterra LBC range bricks) to your final quantity for breakages that sometimes happen during transportation and events out of our control. In the event that damaged goods arrive, we will refund or replace the number of bricks outside of the allowed 5-10% (15-20% for Forterra LBC range bricks) for breakages.

Our hauliersā fleet varies from tail lift lorries to large arctic heavy goods vehicles, therefore road access and weight limits need to be considered. It is important that the delivery address can be accessed by a 10-26 tonne lorry.
Delivery to Zone 1 & 2 postcodes:
Orders of 4 packs or lessĀ are delivered on a tail lift lorry and offloaded using a manual pump truck, kerbside delivery. Please note, to unload and move bricks around on a pump truck, a flat concrete road surface is required, these lorries can not be unloaded whilst on a slope, the pump truck cannot be used on grass, soft road surfaces and gravel roads.
Orders of 5 packs or moreĀ will usually be delivered on an articulated crane off-load vehicle unless particularly difficult to access. Please see exclusions below in āwhere do you deliverā section. Delivery to Zone 3 postcodes:
Any quantity and size orders will be delivered on a tail lift lorry. If you require a crane offload vehicle, please get in touch prior to ordering, as crane offload vehicles are priced differently to these areas as well as the lead time might be longer.
We offer delivery to most of the country except to Northern Ireland and islands, not connected to the mainland by a bridge. Please see our map below with our delivery zones.

All products delivered by Building Materials Wholesale will be delivered to kerb side. Once the driver is at the delivery address, he will let the customer know if it is physically possible to move bricks elsewhere i.e. onto the drive way, around the back etc. If it is physically impossible to leave them exactly where you want them, they will be unloaded at the nearest access point by the kerb outside the delivery address. Please note, to unload and move bricks around on a pump truck, a flat concrete road surface is required,Ā pump truck CAN NOT be used on soil, grass and gravel roads and these lorries can not be unloaded if the road or the driveway is on the slope as the tail of the lorry has to be parallel to the ground surface.
An exception is the use of vehicle mounted crane, customer is required to provide all necessary labour, equipment and space required to unload materials.
The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate access for the delivery and must advise of any restrictions which may result in an unsuccessfulĀ delivery. An additional haulage charge will be applied and payable by the customer if the delivery cannot be completed due to accessibility and lack of space and your items have to be redelivered or diverted to a different address.

While we make every effort to ensure orders are delivered by the date required, we cannot guarantee availability from the haulage companyās delivery schedules. Once the order has been placed, a member of staff will then be in contact to confirm a delivery date. Bricks can be delivered to any part of the country except Northern Ireland and all islands not connected to the mainland by bridges.
We advise that customers wait for their goods to be delivered before arranging work to be undertaken. Building Materials Wholesale may not be held liable for any failure to deliver by any stated time or date or any consequential loss resulting from late delivery.
Deliveries are made on working days only. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are classed as working days with the exception of public and bank holidays. All orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on Monday.
Our order processing cut off time is 11 am, i.e. if an order is placed on Monday at 2pm for 2-4 working days delivery, the order most likely will arrive between Wednesday the same week and Monday the following week.
Delivery is non-refundable and collection/return of each pack is subject to a minimum of Ā£85.00 ex. VAT charge plus a re-stocking charge, which is approximately 10%-25% of the cost of goods returned.
All amendments to the delivery or the delivery address, once the haulage company collects the goods, may result in additional fees, i.e. refused delivery, except if the goods are faulty or not the ones ordered; redirection to a different location rather than the one provided at the time of the order; rescheduled delivery if rescheduled once the driver is already on the way; delivery that can not be completed due to accessibility will be classed as a wasted journey; excessive time driver is held on site will also be charged.
