Facing bricks are the most popular type of brick, which have been used in external walls in the housing market for upwards of a millennium. Contrary to engineering bricks, facing brick properties include higher water absorption, lower density but more appealing aesthetics.
Over time, facing bricks have adopted more colours, and we have more than just red and yellow facing bricks available. We offer shades of weathered yellow facing bricks, as well as colours from cream to brown and black.
Considering their frequent widespread use in the UK housing market, one of the most important qualities of a good facing brick is durability and weather resistance. The majority of the facing bricks on our website are very durable and have an F2 category which means they have good frost resistance.
